Hands on learning for home educated children
Service Description
Learn about lambing, help with afterbirth care, and potentially bottle-feed lambs. You might even witness and assist with the birth of a lamb! This session is specifically tailored for home-educated children. Children under 8 must have an adult guardian stay with them - they can do so free of charge (one guardian). If more adults would like to attend (including adults of children aged 8 & over), please purchase tickets. Age two and under go free. 🤰In order to protect their own health and that of their unborn child, women who are, or who may be, pregnant are advised not to attend sessions on the farm. This is because infectious organisms may be present in birth fluids of animals, particularly sheep, cattle and goats. Such organisms may result in infections such as chlamydiosis, listeriosis, Q fever and toxoplasmosis.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel or change the date or time of the booking then please do so with as much notice as possible to avoid disappointment. We will do our best to rearrange the session, however we cannot guarantee this will be possible. Refunds will be less a small booking fee. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will not be refunded. Please be aware that we may have to cancel an event if there is insufficient interest or participation.
