Policies, Funding and Sponsorship

Made-Well is a Not for Profit Community Interest Company and whilst not a registered charity, our monies go directly into our operations and the activities we provide including any reserves. The company is a private company limited by guarantee, registered in England and Wales. The address of the registered office is West Fishleigh Farm, Hatherleigh, Okehampton, Devon, EX20 3QA. We have several income streams, but these mainly cover the support and enabling opportunities that we provide and pay for staff costs and activities. Whilst grants and funding are an important part of setting up projects and contributing to their development, we have no intention of relying on this as part of our future sustainability. Our projects are currently funded through contracts with individuals, groups and local authorities for the support and enabling that we provide. This includes commissioned enabling support and day opportunities and the income from our café and produce sales. This income does not have an end date. We make a number of applications for grant funding towards projects and developing our provision and more recently towards general running costs due to the cost-of-living crisis. We aim to continue to engage positively with our community and be highly regarded by funders. This will enable us to grow our reputation, access additional funding opportunities and grow our business to reinvest funds. Any grant funding will give us a big boost in this current challenging climate.
