Who are We?

Made-Well is a place to grow, belong and be valued - for everyone!

Made-Well is a not-for-profit community based at West Fishleigh Farm near Hatherleigh, West Devon.

Founded in 2007, we provide day opportunities for adults with learning disabilities, mental health conditions, and loneliness, as well as youth support and Alternative Provision for children aged 8+ who may struggle in school.

We are a place where people can:

  • Build confidence

  • Learn new skills

  • Feel part of a community

What We Offer

We offer hands-on opportunities based on people’s interests, including:

  • Animal care

  • Gardening and growing

  • Cooking

  • Arts, crafts and woodwork

  • Performance and creativity

Adults can also work towards AQA Unit Awards, recognising their progress and achievements.

We also run:

  • Home Education social groups

  • Parent and carer support groups

  • Meals on Wheels

  • Mobile gardening services

Open to Everyone

We are open to the public every day, 9am–4pm, free of charge.

You can enjoy:

  • Our animal barn

  • Accessible playground

  • Gardens and outdoor space

  • Café

We are:

  • Dog friendly (dogs on leads)

  • Wheelchair and pushchair accessible

You can also:

  • Join events

  • Book Animal Club, goat walks or pony therapy

  • Hire our sensory room
